Trip Planning

Wow!
Most of the fun in travel is the planning and anticipation of the trip. Right??? LOL I have spent an enormous amount of time on the phone yesterday and today, planning a trip to the "Bridges of Madison County" covered bridge festival in Oct. Remember that sad, a-moral story of a lonely housewife that "falls in love" with a traveling National Geographic photographer?( this is where the movie is filmed)
Yes, she fell in love in three days with a complete stranger, while her hard working husband and her children were away at the (gasp) state fair for a 4-H project.( Am I the only one that thinks this is a lot to expect the viewer to buy into?) What if instead of a photographer, his profession was ax-murderer? The whole story line could have changed...from being a love story to a slasher movie!!!!

Okay..back to my original thought!! I spent a lot of time tracking down reservations because this particular place did not accept online reservations!!! Hard to believe, isn't it? They still have a very nice man, answering the phone, returning calls, collecting credit card numbers.
