"Pure Country" filmed in 1992 is an opportunity to see George Strait up close and personal. Wow, he is so cute and really young in this movie...but way too skinny!!!
The acting is mediocre, the story is passe, but Dusty rocks!!!
A bunch of us gals got the chance to see George Strait at Kemper a couple of years ago, and it was definitely NOT up close and personal!! We were in the nosebleed section and after a couple beers it became a challenge to return to our seats!!! I really should have been in physical training before the concert!!
Taylor Swift and Ronnie Milsap were the back up performers and it was just a super concert. Thanks goodness for the cameras and big screens! We had a blast and I left as a re-confirmed George Strait fan.
If you haven't seen it, it is worth a Friday night and a bowl of popcorn, but be prepared to fall in love with George!
